Quick pitch for a seminar we are participating in next month. The Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Portland (HBA) is hosting “Media 101: Get a Piece of the Action”. The event will include a panel of media members from the Portland area representing newspapers, TV, radio and magazines. Kevin Curry from Command will moderate the panel. Attendees will learn how to determine what is newsworthy, how to get their stories in the news and become a good source for the media. So mark your calendars for May 27 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m..
